Nick Welicky is a Philadelphia-based horn player from Wichita, Kansas. He is currently pursuing a Professional Studies Certificate at Temple University, studying with Ernie Tovar. Nick received his Master of Music degree from Temple University in 2025 as a student of Randy Gardner, and his Bachelor of Music degree from Wichita State University in 2023 as a student of Jeb Wallace. He has performed as a soloist with the Wichita State University Symphony Orchestra and in public masterclasses with William Purvis, Jeffrey Lang, Jennifer Montone, Ernie Tovar, the Boston Brass, and the American Horn Quartet. Nick has attended the Domaine Forget Music Festival in Quebec and the Bay View Music Festival in Michigan. He has performed with the Wichita Symphony, the Wichita Regional Ballet, and the Wichita Grand Opera. 

Nick teaches individual horn lessons, and previous students have earned horn scholarships to study at Friends University in Wichita. He has also taught group lessons to middle and high school students.

In his free time, Nick enjoys baking and spending time with his cat, Hazel.
